A.J. Tuck, quality begins in our Engineering Department, a highly qualified, experienced engineering staff- trained in the specialized nature of the electroforming process.
Beginning with the customer's finished drawings, our Engineering Department evaluates the job requirements and determines the best method for producing the part. A complete operation sheet is produced with each step described and specified which will follow through the entire manufacturing process. Engineering continues to oversee each project through the machining, electroforming and quality control operations to assure complete customer satisfaction.The latest CAD/CAM equipment and techniques are utilized in producing manufacturing drawings and in programming our CNC machine tools.
4-axis CNC Milling
Our machine tool facility, including the latest 4-axis CNC equipment, manned by specially trained machinists with an average of 20 years' experience, assures the precision required for the elctroforming process, with tolerances as close as +/- .0002".
Our model shop and production machine shop are fully equipped for complete preparation of electroforming mandrels and final machining of finished electroforms - including precision turning, milling, boring, tapping, and external machining.
