Machinist

Full time machinist for diverse, high precision work with tight tolerances.

Primarily work with aluminum, copper, and nickel.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure sample parts, if necessary, to determine dimensions of finished workpiece.

  • Measure dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining.

  • Select, align to, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders.

  • Calculate and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.

  • Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.

  • Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.

  • Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.

  • Verify dimensions and alignment of products.

  • Accurately and completely record all necessary information to worksheets in a timely manner.

  • Keep work area organized, and clean.

  • Confer with engineers or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

Requirements:

  • Be a self-motivated team player.

  • Consistently meets or beats production schedule while delivering high quality product.

  • Must be fluent in English language and be a U.S. Person (US citizen or green card holder).

  • Work from 7 AM to 3:30 PM M-F (Overtime during the week and on Saturdays normally available).

Electroformer

Full time electroformer who can prepare and electroplate hardware in accordance with company work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and quality procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Mix chemicals.

  • Handle parts that go into and out of chemical baths.

  • Work around chemicals.

  • Assemble/disassemble parts according to drawings.

  • Work with general hand tools to maintain electroforming bath and associated systems.

  • Use a microscope.

  • Accurately and completely record all necessary information to worksheets in a timely manner.

  • Keep work area, organized, and clean.

  • Confer with engineers or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

Requirements:

  • Be a self-motivated team player.

  • Consistently meets or beats production schedule while delivering high quality product.

  • Must be fluent in English language and be a U.S. Person (US citizen or green card holder).

  • Work from 7 AM to 3:30 PM M-F (Overtime during the week and on Saturdays normally available).

Assembler

Full time technician who can assemble hardware in accordance with company work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and quality procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Good hand coordination along with microscope work.

  • Assemble/disassemble parts according to drawings.

  • Use all types of hand tools and equipment required for position, including but not limited to jewelers’ files, pliers, and tweezers.

  • Accurately and completely record all necessary information to worksheets in a timely manner.

  • Keep work area, organized, and clean.

  • Confer with engineers or others to resolve assembly problems.

Requirements:

  • Be a self-motivated team player.

  • Consistently meets or beats production schedule while delivering high quality product.

  • Must be fluent in English language and be a U.S. Person (US citizen or green card holder).

  • Work from 7 AM to 3:30 PM M-F (Overtime during the week and on Saturdays normally available).
